I shot all of these with a Sony a6300 using a fixed 14mm f/2.8 lens at 1/125 ss
Portraits have always been very interesting to me. I always thought there was only one way yo go about them and that was in a professional headshot setting. After reading and talking about portraits though I realize there are so many different ways to go about portrait photography. Being comfortable with your subject is definitely something I think is important as these close up portraits can get awkward. With mine it was me and my girlfriend so everything was very light hearted and fun. Having my dog in the room also helped take attention away from the huge camera in her face to get a more relaxed candid. I would love to do more shots like these in the future now that I have a different feeling for portrait photography.
